Section Beauty: Mitsuwa Marketplace

This month I had the chance to soak up my beauty product obsession at one of Chicago's finest Asian markets. Deemed as "the largest Japanese Supermarket in the U.S.", Mitsuwa boasts a dining center completed with authentic Japanese food, fresh produce, bakery, specialty sake store, and my favorite part of all, a Tumblr-worthy selection of cosmetics.

An overwhelming selection of eyebrow pencils but the market provides testers so it saves time trying to figure out which brand and style is the best. My favorite brand would have to be "Spring Heart", always in shade Blonde.
Dolly Wink lashes ranges from $18-$20 but it comes with two identical pairs and the quality of the hairs is exceptional. Surprisingly the little complimentary glue has also proven to be good too because the consistency lasts for quite a while.
Palty is by far my favorite hair dye kit because it delivers accurate results and the packaging is cute ^^

Tsubasa Masuwaka's adorable brand "Dolly Wink" is sold here at a likable quantity with the prices reflecting its original amount so there is no worry about whether it's more expensive here or not. Her endorsed hair brand, "Palty" is also available with an impressive selection of colors.
Although it is still a supermarket, Mitsuwa has a good collection of BB creams, eyebrow makeup, and skin/hair products. It is and has been a favorite destination of mine for a while because it supplies my inner-gyaru with all the goodies I need without the commitment of shipping fees (besides the long drive of course).
